Should namabots follow Cue's flow?

Mostly yes. Cue (by Manus) is right that agents should feel like contacts, not tools. namabots is already built that way: a named roster, mascot states and approval stamps. What we'd change is where the agent gets its identity and how much it does without asking.

Adopt

  • Agents as chat contacts. The home screen is a chat list. Cue proves this is the simplest way into many agents.
  • Identity cards per agent. Phone, mail, wallet and computer as visible, switchable abilities.
  • Group chat of agents. Hand-offs are visible, which builds trust.
  • Calm, minimal UI. White space, system font, black pill buttons, soft grey cards.
  • Example prompts as the onboarding. Real tasks, grouped by life area.

Adapt

  • Identity = your connected channels, not new phone numbers. People live in Telegram and WhatsApp, so we read and draft there.
  • Approval per action, not one-time permission grants. A question on Cue's Product Hunt launch asked exactly this; we answer it with an action card that shows what will change.
  • "Needs you / Messages / Filtered" triage (a pattern from another app called Cue, by Anutech), extended with a scam and AI-instruction filter.
  • Mascot avatars instead of static icons, so status is visible at a glance.

  • Wallet and payments. A misfire costs too much. Revisit after the gate has a track record.
  • Own phone numbers and calls. Telephony costs and rules for each country. Not needed for messaging.
  • A cloud computer per agent. Heavy, and not our wedge.
  • Desktop apps. We ship web plus the Android APK.
